There are 4 Footbal teams in Kria Vrissi :

• APOLLON KRIAS VRISSI F.C.

  Founded in 1960
  Rests in the National Stadium of Kria Vrissi(2000 seats)

  The team comes from the union of "Doxa" and Hercules of Kria Vrissi. Right now the team takes part in the National Championship, in the Fourth Category. Apollon even played in the second National Category. The Team is the citizens' favourite team and everybody calls the team "Prince of the Valley" Recently two of its footballers have played for Edessaikos: Kastaniotis and Savvas Papadopoulos, from Kria Vrissi.

• Pirros Krias Vrissis

  Founded in 1980's
  Rest in the Public Statium of Kria Vrissi

  The Team is the "athlet's nursery" in Town. MAny young footballers have been playing for teams, in the First National Category, as well as Apollon Kria Brissi. The Team plays for the 2nd Category Amateurish Championship of Pella

• Olympiada Krias Vrissis

  Founded in 1980's Rests in the Public Statium of Kria Vrissi.

  The team is the "nursery" school for Apollon Krias Vrissis. It takes part in the 3rd Category Amateurish Championship of Pella

• Youth of Pontus

  Founded in 1980's
  Rests in the National Stadium.

  It plays for the 3rd Amateurish Championship of Pella

There is one team, divided in six parts according to age and sex. The male team takes part in the 2nd Category of Central Macedonia Championship. The children, the female and the young girls' team play for the Central Macedonia Championship. The mini-Children and the Mini-girls teams take part in the local Championship.

  The male team takes part in the 2nd Category of Central Macedonia Championship. The children, the female and the young girls' team play for the Central Macedonia Championship. The mini-Children and the Mini-girls teams take part in the local Championship.

There is an athletics team in Kria Vrissi

• "Spiros Louis" Kria Vrissis

  Founded in 1980's
  Rests in the National Stadium.

  The team is divided in a children and female team. The Team started training athlets again after 3-year-stop. It is going to take part in a championship organised by the Sports Organisations in Pella and Kilkis.

As far as Athletics is concerned, there is the necessity of constructing a new Stadium appropriate for the 30-35 thousands inhabitants of the entire area. More than 60 children occupy themselves with basketball and other 40-45 with athletics.
